INTRODUCTION
The Global Relevance of the Chinese Path The Chinese people now call the path of their own choice the socialist path with Chinese characteristics. In other words, they believe their development path is socialist and assumes Chinese characteristics.
Although the path assumes Chinese characteristics, in fact it has been increasingly displaying its relevance to humanity as a whole. The socialist path with Chinese characteristics has significantly changed the development course of Chinese history. At the same time, it has also exerted a major impact on the development course of world history. The socialist path with Chinese characteristics emphasizes its characteristics, but an emphasis on national characteristics does not necessarily mean an embrace of narrow nationalism. On the contrary, the Chinese path rejects and goes beyond narrow nationalism.
“Chinese characteristics” is added to mean that the Chinese nation should give full play to its cohesiveness, form and put to best use its advantages. In this sense, the socialist path with Chinese characteristics naturally exerts a global influence.
